What is Green Luzern?
Green Luzern helps locals and visitors find places and practical stops in and around Luzern: where to eat, shop secondhand, refill a bottle, or rent a bike.
The map brings together food, shopping, places to stay, cultural venues, bike rentals, charging points, and public drinking fountains. Check current details with the venue before visiting.
We take inspiration from the Swisstainable movement led by Switzerland Tourism, which promotes tourism and daily life that strengthens the local economy, protects natural landscapes, and respects cultural heritage.
A reason behind every pin
Each published place has a documented inclusion reason, source links and a review date on its map card. We check for specific services such as plant-based food, refill shopping, reuse, repair or cycling, or named sustainability programme participation.
These services do not certify every aspect of a business. Swisstainable is a programme: Level I means committed, Level II engaged and Level III leading. We show the reported level and do not present a Level I commitment as independent certification. Entries without enough evidence stay off the public map while under review.
